Stories for Korean Learners
Welcome to our collection of stories for Korean learners! Each story contains accompanying audio, English translations, a key words list, and quizzes.
- To see the romanizations for a line, click the RO button. For example, this will show 안녕하세요 as an-nyeong-ha-se-yo. Romanizations are not perfect, so it's better to read the _Hangul_ and use your ears.
- To see the translations for a line, click the EN button.
- To move the playhead to a word, click on the word.
A great way to learn is to first read the story while listening to the audio, then listen to the story without reading the text, several times over the next few days!
The stories are organized into four levels: Foundational and Beginner and Intermediate and Advanced.
Can't read Hangul?
If you don't know how to read Hangul yet, you can still get started reading the Foundational stories with romanizations.
However, we recommend you learn at least a bit of Hangul first. Check out Unit 1 where we teach you all you need to know about reading Hangul.

Even if you can't read Hangul you can get started with these stories! Each story focuses on a single Grammar concept.
